United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR)
United Methodists have had a long-standing relationship with Haiti through the Methodist Church of Haiti. The strong ties between the Methodist Church of Haiti and The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) helped in facilitating the opening of the UMCOR Haiti field office in 2005. 100 percent of Advance gifts made will go to support relief and development efforts due to emergencies in Haiti.

Friends For Missions
Mary E. Sawyer-Goodwin, fondly referred to as Sister Mary, had a true heart for missions. Anyone who knew her, new about Friends for Missions and her work in Haiti. Her lifelong commitment to the people of Haiti started in 1968 when she and her husband, Dr. Bennie E. Goodwin, were asked to go to Haiti to check out a school run by her mother-in-law, Mrs. Odessa Goodwin. She asked the Lord about what she could do to help the people of Haiti. He told her to simply write a letter to her friends and acquaintances and Friends for Missions was born.

Compassion International
Compassion International is one of the nation's largest Christian child sponsorship organizations, working with more than 65 denominations and thousands of indigenous church partners in Africa, Asia, Central and South America, and the Caribbean. Since 1952, Compassion's revolutionary approach, through one-to-one Christian child sponsorship, has touched the lives of more than 2 million children. Compassion has been recognized for its financial integrity with top ratings and recommendations by several "watchdog" organizations.
